ABOUT

Clinical Psychologist

My name is Dr. Meghan Horn, Psy.D., HSPP, and I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Indiana.

I trained and worked for years in a variety of settings that helped me learn how to truly meet each individual where they were in their path and to guide them to a better version of themselves.

I acquired my education from Purdue University Fort Wayne with a Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) in Psychology. I then received my graduate training from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology and finally my Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology, in Washington, D.C.

I specialize in trauma-informed care, and enjoy working with individuals struggling with life transitions, relationship issues, and identity problems. I aim to aid individuals in learning how to take control of their lives and find meaning through their struggle.

Self-Defense Instructor
I started training in self defense, specifically Krav Maga, in early 2012 when I found myself working in some dangerous environments during graduate school and wanted to know how to defend myself. Not long after, I was asked to become an instructor and the rest is history. I enjoy teaching individuals that they have the ability to be their own protection, internally and physically.

I have trained with some of the top Krav Maga instructors in the world and will continue to constantly seek knowledge to impart on students to give them a sense of peace.

I was certified at Wingate Institute in Netanya, Israel (birthplace of Krav Maga) as a Practical Instructor in Krav Maga.
